Tell us about your family.
My wife's name is Brianna and we have been married for 7 years. We have two kids - Tyndale (age 2.5) and Theo (age 1). We love to spend time outdoors hiking through the beautiful canyons on the Navajo Nation/in the four corners area near our home.
How have you seen God working in your family?
My wife and I are working to prioritize leading our boys first and keeping healthy time together amidst the sea of ministry demands. I am praying about how I can be a better husband and father and ensure that I always prioritize leading my family first. This is difficult, especially in a place where the needs are so heavy with so many people in poverty with broken families.
We spend lots of time investing in some of my young teenage cousins up here and two boys especially want to follow Jesus. We are facing major spiritual opposition from some traditional "medicine men" in our extended family who oppose the church, but we see those boys and others growing a real hunger to study the Bible and know Christ even in the face of opposition from their parents.
How have you seen God working in your life?
Since moving to the Navajo Nation, I have prayed and journaled more than ever before while re-starting this church. I have grown so much in dependence on God since I have had to rely more tangibly on Him and His provision for everything here. The pain and the suffering here, both emotional and physical, have had grown my reliance on the Father every day that I have been here. The cultural distinctions from planting in the city and to rural Navajo country has been drastic. Help has to travel farther distances and community takes longer to build. Thank the Lord he ordains all things to happen in his timing.
How have you seen God working in your church?
In the last few months, the Lord has grown the church from a small group of 4-6 women each Sunday to 25-35 people each week, including lots of kids and more men, even though we have not really done any advertising or outreach yet. The Lord is bringing people to hear the good news of the gospel and I am grateful to have a small part in the Lords work here in Many Farms, AZ. We just baptized 4 people on Sunday (2/22/26)! there has not been a baptism in this church in over 8 years! Hallelujah!
What is your church’s mission/vision?
We aim to reach the Navajo people with then full message of the gospel. We seek to grow a healthy church on the Navajo Nation with a focus on long-term discipleship to see lives changed by Jesus, who is the hope of the world.
We seek in the within the next five years to be hub for planting churches on the Navajo Nation and by the Lords grace have a co-pastor here at the church.
To see any success here as a church plant is to see mature believers share the gospel with their relatives. We are prayerful as we continue to labor in the field the Lord has put us we will see plants grow and fruit mature. We are here for however long the Lord has us here and we are grateful for even the one sheep to return to the Great Shepherd.

How can we be praying for you?
1. Pray for protection against spiritual attacks and pray for those who are newly seeking Jesus to have discernment against spiritual manipulation/abuse by those who oppose Christ.
2. Pray for us to be able to set good boundaries to prioritize our marriage and our kids as we serve.
3. Pray for another mature couple or single believer to come labor alongside us to help share the load of ministry - accountability, helping disciple others, even another preacher. The needs are endless. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
