Tell us about your family.
My wife's name is Aria, and we have been married for 15 years. We have two children: our daughter Ariella, who is 13, and our son Aaron, who is 11. As a family, we love spending time in conversation — talking about life, dreaming together, and making plans for our future. We enjoy going to the beach together, and one of the most meaningful things we share is praying and reading the Bible as a family.
How have you seen God working in your family?
We have seen God working in our family in so many ways. From the very beginning of our marriage, we both realized that God had prepared us for each other. We come from very similar backgrounds and share a love for God, a love for people, and a deep dedication to ministry. God opened the door for me to earn my theological degrees, and He is now allowing me to pursue my doctorate in theology. He has faithfully carried us through the most challenging years of church planting and team building, and He has brought amazing leaders to our church who bring great joy to us and to the whole congregation. We see God's special blessing in our children. They both bring us so much joy — they are doing very well in school, are motivated to grow, and genuinely love God and people. We are grateful to be following God's plan, and at every stage of our lives we have seen Him prepare something even greater than we expected.
How have you see God working in your life?
I see God working in my life first through His provision — He faithfully provides the resources we need both for our family's life in an expensive city like Boca Raton and for our ministry. I also see Him at work in my personal growth, giving me opportunities to grow both spiritually and academically. I am grateful for the good friends, partners, and supporters God has placed around me in what I do. And I see His blessing in so many ways: in giving me a wonderful family and great children, and in giving me a ministry where I am able to serve others while continuing to grow spiritually myself.
How have you seen God working in your church?
God's work in our church has been visible from the very start. What began as a small church plant with just two families has grown into a living, fruitful congregation, and even in these early years I have witnessed many people come to faith, with dozens of baptisms and salvations. Our calling has also grown beyond serving the Eastern European community of South Florida. God led us to establish a relief ministry that has touched thousands of refugees and some of the neediest people in our region. Every month we continue to serve hundreds of families, providing food and other essential resources.
This practical care has become a powerful confirmation of God's love — a love expressed not only from the pulpit but through tangible acts of service. God has given our church a unique role during the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Our congregation includes people from both of these nations, as well as from other Eastern European countries, and I have watched God bring reconciliation and peace between people whose homelands are at war — uniting us as His family and His children. I have seen how this shared life and shared service connects people from very different backgrounds, builds genuine community, and displays the work of God in the lives of displaced people here in the United States.
What is your church’s mission/vision?
Our church's mission is to proclaim the good news to the many nationalities living in South Florida. People around us carry a wide variety of needs, but the greatest of them all is lostness. We believe the greatest blessing available to any human being is found in Jesus Christ — the forgiveness of sins and salvation. So we do everything we can to share the message of the gospel: to preach, to teach, and to train, equipping others for the work God is doing in our region. Our vision is a multiethnic, welcoming church community that is biblically sound, doctrinally grounded, and practically involved in meeting the needs of the neediest people in our region. Our goal also includes establishing a training center that would prepare and equip ministers, leaders, and future church plants to serve other churches across our area.
