Tell us about your family.

I have been married to Christine since 18th July 2015- we are in our 11th year now. She is a high school teacher of Geography and Kiswahili.

We have 3 children: Amani Jesse (boy, 9), Joy Ruth (girl, 7) and Jasmine Anna (girl, 3).

We like playing games together (including hide and seek), Friday nights for either dancing or watching (depending on how our week has been) and going for walks.

How have you seen God working in your family?

God has been good to us as a family. He's blessed with a godly wife and together, we are raising children for him. God helps to have devotion in the evenings as we read God's word together and pray.

God has helped my family be welcoming as my wife and children love hosting different people. Our children love people and they don't see ministry as taking away from enjoying their childhood. God has also faithfully provided for us and helped us be generous with others around us.

How have you seen God working in your life?

Since I became a Christian at 14, God blessed me with different men and women in my life who helped me in my walk with him and ignited in me a passion for the gospel. In high school, I preached to my fellow students. In university, I went for missions in different parts of Kenya at least 3 times a year. I then did an internship with iServe Africa which God used it to open my eyes to understand that salvation is by God's grace alone through faith. I eventually went into full time ministry after training and God continues to reveal himself to me through his word and he continues to bless me with wonderful people in this journey of salvation.

How have you seen God working in your church?

The journey to church planting is always challenging yet exciting. When the idea came and we contacted people, it was initially discouraging as those we thought would come, didn't. But then God sent people with us and to us that we didn't know and it's been an amazing fellowship. God has given us favour with the community such that we've been able to do two VBSs and we got so many children. We also had one man come to faith before the end of last year after having attended for about 4 months. God has also answered our prayer but giving us a piece of land that we can lease at a good price so that we can do gospel work without much interruptions. 2026 looks promising as there are many doors before us.

What is your church’s mission/vision?

To faithfully proclaim the Gospel in Limuru, faithfully live out the Gospel and be a faithful witness.

- Word - believe the word, teach it and be changed by it.

- Worship - worship God corporately when we gather and individually wherever we are.

- Witness - go and tell others so that they believe and worship God.

How can we be praying for you?

1. Thank God with us for sustaining us a family this far in church planting. That he will provide and protect us and we'll be fruitful.

2. Pray that we start adult bible classes, membership classes and preaching through Mark 1-8, Hosea and Titus that God will build us by his word.

3. Pray that all will work well as we move to our new leased land in February/March. That the building project will go well and the venue will serve the gospel.
