Tell us about your family.
Maria and I have been married for 15 years. God has blessed us with three children. Our favorite activity is to go to the park together and play games as a family.
How have you seen God working in your family?
Our children are becoming teenagers. So far they are still open and teachable toward us and interested in growing as believers.
How have you seen God working in your church?
Our church is multi-cultural because with not only Czechs and Ukrainians, but also Russians and other slavic peoples. Our community is surprised that we are such a diverse church that is trying to love one another and serve the city.
What is your church’s mission/vision?
Matthew 28:19-20 is a guiding vision for us. The goal of our ministry is to spread the Gospel to those around us. There is a lot of uncertainty in the world, and since we do not know what tomorrow will bring, we live with a focus on each day’s tasks and trials, which is what Jesus teaches us to do in Matthew 6:34.
How can we be praying for you?
That the war in Ukraine would stop
For wisdom for us as pastors to know how to encourage those affected by the war, and to help them acquire the true hope in the midst of their desperate situations

How have you seen God working in your life?
My family came from Ukraine to Czech before the war started. Our experience as immigrants helped us to see that we are primarily citizens of heaven. As we have helped Ukrainian war refugees find faith in Christ, it has motivated me toward greater urgency to proclaim the gospel and beg people to believe.
